asthma

I heard from my friend that the onions with sugar was good for coughing .

I know the cutting onion is good for coughing, but the onion with sugar was new for me. I thought again the onion was very good for body ,though I can't try it because my daughter doesn't like sweet.

My husband didn't know what the asthma was, so I told him the meaning. He said "Well, asthma sounds like a Japanese surname" I laughed much because I didn't recognize that asthma sounds like 東(azuma).

Azuma san suffers asthma. Like a toungue twister. ---- 玉ねぎの砂糖漬け(？)で滲み出てきた汁を飲むと咳に良いんだという話を日本語を全く知らない私の友達から聞きました。喘息が酷い時によく使っていたということです。 ここでAsthmaという単語が出てきたんですが、日本語で喘息という意味です。 パパがその意味を今日知りました。 初めて知った時の第一声が「Asthmaと東さんって似てるね」と。 ファーストインプレッションがそれか！とかなりツボにはまってしまい1人で大爆笑をしてしまいました。 その友達にはお礼に 「日本には東さんという名字があって、そのあだ名がアズマックスだ」 と心底どうでもいい情報を教えました。 困惑されましたが、後悔はしていません。
