My daughter has a placemat on which her favorite "Rarachan"is drawn. The picture shows Rarachan's birthday party,everybody seems happy. (Rarachan is a popular Japanese character among children up to 7~8years, especially those who live near the supermarket "AEON")
My daughter stared this picture,saying nothing.
Suddenly my daughter bursted into tears.
"I miss Rarachan!"
Tears dropped from both of her blackish eyes.
She seemed to miss Japan.
I calmed her down,and we watched her movie on Youtube.
Her smile was back again soon.
I feeled relieved.

娘はイオンのキャラクターのララちゃんが大好きでした。
イオンのモーリーファンタジーというアミューズメントコーナーでは、毎月、該当月が誕生日のお友達をお祝いするのですが、娘の誕生日は年１回のはずなのに、毎回参加していました。恐らく顔なじみになっていたことでしょう。
そんなララちゃんのランチョンマットを、しげしげと見る娘。
そしていきなり
「ララちゃんが恋しくなっちゃったよぉぉ」と大粒の涙をこぼして泣き出してしまいました。
娘をなだめた後、Youtubeでララちゃんの動画鑑賞会。
娘はにわかに顔を明るくして、動画のみんなと一緒になって踊りだしました。
娘も言葉の通じない国でいろんな思いを抱えているんだろうなと考えさせられましたが、ともあれ機嫌が直って良かったです。
ちなみにこの歌、私も好きだったりします。
なんて言っても歌詞が可愛い。こんな世界に私も住みたいです！
