I brought "nazorin-machine" from Japan for my daughter. The machine helps her learn how to write "hiragana" enjoyably and efficiently. She likes it very much even though she completes "hiragana" for it also contains some other games.
It needs a whiteboard marker to be written, but I have run out of it after she played it many times.
I remember when I lived in Japan, I did buy spare whiteboard marker at supermarket and put it into a cardboard and sent the cardboard to NZ before we came here.
I am sure it must be somewhere in cardboard in my place though. But I can't find it.
At first she still played it with the whiteboard marker, which has run out, and found it not fun anymore. My daughter tried to find out where the spare whiteboard marker is, but it didn't come out. She really really wanted to play the machine, and she tried to find out, but it didn't.
Finally she began to cry with her head on the floor.
I felt sorry for her, dicided to buy new one, though I am sure the spare is somewhere in the cardboards.
I bought it at warehouse.
Now she is happy to play "nazorin-machine" again.
She played it many times yesterday.

ひらがななぞりんマシーンを日本から持ってきたんですが、付属のホワイトボードマーカーが切れてしまいました。
最初は切れたマーカーで何とか遊ぼうとしていたんですが、やっぱり色が出ないのに形をなぞるのは難しいと感じたようです。私に替えのものはどこか訊いてくるようになりました。
私も日本から替えのモノを買って送った覚えは確実にあるんですが、何度探しても、どこを探しても見当たりません。
その旨と、探したいけれどこれからご飯を作るから探せないという事を娘に伝えたら、待ちきれないようで娘が探し始めました。
長い間探したようですが、やっぱり見当たらない様子。娘が次第に静かになっていくのをパパが気が付いたようです。様子を確認しに行ったら床にうつぶせになってしくしく、しくしく泣いていたそうです。パパが何故泣いているのか訊いたら、泣き声がしくしくからわんわんに変わり、その声が支度中の私の耳にも届き、私も手を止めてそこに行きました。
こんな姿で泣くのは初めてです。私もパパも強かノックアウトされました。昨日Warehouseに行ってホワイトボードマーカーを買ってきました。
新しいマーカーを手にして超ご機嫌な娘は、昨日長い間、なぞりんマシーンで遊んでいました。
まぁ…これで良かったかな。それにしても早く替えのマーカーが出てきますように。
