I went to Shakespear Regional Park for the first time with my friends. It was cloudy day, though it turned to sunny by afternoon. We had a barbeque there, which was very good! Many sorts of birds were in the park. Peahens around us were very cute ...and a bit forward because they tried to eat our foods anytime they could.
After a barbeque, we walked along a very steep track that led to the top of hill. My daugher kept running up and down on the track.
We were a little bit tired after a long walk. But my daughter didn't. She was so excited that she didn't fall asleep easily at that night. She's never tired...
Shakespear Regional Park という公園に行ってきました。 そこは家から車で1時間のところにある場所で、公園の出入り口にはゲートがありました。そこに住んでいる野生の鳥を保護するためだそうです。野生の鳥を手厚く保護するってさすがニュージーランドですね。
お昼にバーベキューをしました。こちらのバーベキュー施設は私が知る限り無料です。日本だとある程度支払う必要があると思うんですが、ここら辺でもアウトドア派のニュージーランドのアピールが光りますね。
バーベキューでお肉やムール貝をたんまり食べた後、ちょっと散歩をしようという事になったんですが、歩いてみるとこれがまた結構な急こう配という事が分かり、でも強い友達の勧めもあり丘の上まで歩いてみました。
私たちは太ももや臀部の筋肉をピキピキさせながら歩いているのに、娘だけは走って上がったり下がったり数往復していました。この若さを発電に使えないでしょうか。
丘の上は友達が薦めただけあって、本当に見晴らしが良かったです。
また絶対に来たいです。
